Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is a timeless wine, an expression of a unique style that Bertani has always followed with dedication. Born from Corvina and Rondinella grapes on the hills of Tenuta Novare, in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, in vineyards dedicated only to withering grapes. 2012 is the result of 3,322 days of waiting and work. Complex, balanced, harmonious, of extraordinary longevity. Deep red colour, with garnet shades. The typical notes of plum, cherry and marasca stand out on the nose, followed by tea leaf, liquorice and spices. Scents of red berry fruit, sweetened by soft notes of spices, in perfect balance with acidity and tannin.

Ottenuto con il tradizionale metodo del "ripasso", il vino affina in rovere per 12 mesi. Rubino, al naso si rivela, fin da subito, ampio e intenso in particolare, sentori di ciliegia e amarena, vaniglia e cenni di cioccolato. Al palato si presenta deciso, di bella setosità e di lunga persistenza.

Un vigneto destinato alla sola produzione di questo vino. Nel bicchiere si presenta rosso rubino, in bocca è Immediato e beverino grazie a buona freschezza, ai tannini ben integrati e al corpo medio. Chiude lungo moderatamente sapido e fruttato.

Aged for a year in oak barrels, then a further period of 6 months of bottle. We have a balsamic Valpolicella with rich hints of cherry and marasca accompanied by notes of white pepper, the ageing in wood gives tannic structure and a persistent flavour.
